Watches can be purchased from many different sources but very few places are capable of servicing themselves the product they sell. We currently employ 45 watchmakers whose training and equipment is constantly being updated and upgraded.
Many of our watchmakers have received the highest levels of certification available in our industry – from WOSTEP (Watchmakers of Switzerland Training and Educational Program) and AWCI (American Watchmakers-Clockmakers Institute).
All of our watch repair shops are fully equipped with the state of the art tools required by the major watch manufacturers.
All of our watchmakers receive ongoing training from many of the manufacturers of the watches that we carry in our stores.
We use genuine parts and manufacturer suggested repair techniques and testing methods in all of our repairs.
Movements are completely disassembled during the overhaul process to fully check the condition of all parts.
We offer case and bracelet refinishing for most models of many brands.
All watches are water tested to the manufacturer’s specifications.
Don’t wait for your watch to run slow or stop before overhauling it.
A quartz movement will start to lose time or stop as soon as the lubrication changes at all. If the watch has a quartz movement, it is possible to wait for the watch to begin running erratically before bringing it in for service.
A mechanical watch, on the other hand, will continue to run even though the oil is completely dry. Allowing a mechanical movement to run with dry lubrication can damage the mechanism. Mechanical watches should be cleaned on a regular basis about every 5-7 years whether they are running well or not.
Do all watches need to be overhauled only by a manufacturer certified watchmaker?
It is important to have your watch repaired by a certified or manufacturer-trained watchmaker. Many types of high grade watch movements cannot be properly repaired without the use of the specific lubricants and repair techniques suggested by the watch manufacturer.
